Gaming a Syllabus

I’m going to try and “gamify” one (maybe two) course syllabus/syllabi for my fall classes at CU Boulder this year. One is a freshman seminar (Headwaters: Going Upriver in Literature and Film) and the other is a course I’ve taught before: The Arabic Novel.

I haven’t used a “gamed” syllabus before, but I think it will work better than traditional grading. I’m going to post some updates once I get going on this later in the summer.
